General Terms of Service

Payment

  • All payments are to be made upfront via PayPal unless a partial payment plan has been agreed upon.
  • Partial payment plans are available for larger commissions; please discuss this with me during your inquiry.
  • Prices are listed in Euros (€). Currency conversion fees, if any, are the responsibility of the client.
  • Commissions will only be started after full payment or the first installment of a payment plan is received.

Art Usage & Rights

  • The commissioned artwork is for personal, non-commercial use only, unless specific commercial rights have been discussed and purchased separately.
  • Usage of my art for AI learning datasets, NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), or any blockchain-related technology is strictly prohibited.
  • I, the artist (MeiiArt), retain the right to display the commissioned artwork in my portfolio, social media, and other promotional materials (e.g., as examples for future commissions).
  • You may not alter, edit, or trace the artwork without my explicit permission.
  • Proper credit to MeiiArt is appreciated when displaying the artwork online.

Commission Process & Revisions

  • Clear and concise visual references for characters are mandatory for most commission types.
  • A character design fee (typically starting at €100, may vary) will apply if you require me to design a character from scratch or based on very loose descriptions.
  • Minor revisions are generally included during the sketch phase. Significant changes after approval of the sketch, or changes requested late in the process, may incur additional fees.
  • Communication is key! Please provide feedback promptly when requested to keep the commission on schedule.

Pricing & Complexity

  • All listed prices are base prices. The final price may vary depending on the complexity of the character design, requested elements, and specific details of the commission.
  • I will provide a final quote after discussing the details of your request.

Refunds & Cancellations

  • Refunds are generally not offered once work has begun on a commission.
  • If I am unable to complete a commission for any reason, a partial or full refund will be issued depending on the amount of work already completed.
  • If the client cancels a commission after work has begun, a refund will not be issued for the work already completed.

Delivery

  • Estimated delivery times are provided with each commission type but can vary depending on my current workload and the complexity of the commission.
  • I will keep you updated on the progress of your commission.

By commissioning MeiiArt, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. Specific commission types may have additional terms listed on their respective pages.
